A Cup of This and A Slice of That…

Seeing the same meal or even the same ingredients more than once can send some running. One way around it, (and also to save money), is to take leftovers and come up with your own version of the infamous TV dinner. Are You Ready for a Challenge?
Do you like a challenge? How about a 31 day challenge? I’m currently creating a money makeover course that will be uploaded to BSG. While I’ve been working on it, I thought why not do a 31 day challenge. So during the month of March, I’ll be posting a different money related challenge right here at BSG. In the meantime, is there anything you’d like to see during the challenge? Struggling with some aspect of your budget? Having trouble finding money to put toward the rainy day fund? Let me know by leaving a comment or you can contact me at budgetsmartqueries@gmail.com.

Regrow Your Vegetables and Fruit
Did you know you can regrow some of the fruits and vegetables you buy? I love the idea that you can buy something once and use it multiple times. I saw a video about how you can grow more food from scraps of foods, like lettuce, celery and green onions. I recently gave it a try and purchased a book on the topic which I’ve listed below if you want to check it out. I bought a pack of three romaine lettuces, set them in water for about a week until some new roots grew then planted them in some potting soil and have kept them in a sunny location.…
