Build Your List with Giveaway Events…hurry free webinar starts in less than 5 hours!
For years people have been telling me I have to build and grow my e-mail list. The money is in the list they’d say over and over again. I know it’s true because you can have a great product but if you have no one to sell it to, no one who’s going to see it, then your time and effort is wasted. And I’m talking wasted with a capital W. We’re looking for an effective, consistent way to grow our email lists so we can serve more people and have more people see the wonderful products and services we have to offer them. That’s why I was excited to…

Friday Ramblings-Much Needed Rest
Another busy week and I’m glad that this weekend has an added day for some rest and relaxation. One thing I’ll never sugarcoat are facts about running a business and working for yourself. While I wouldn’t want to go back to working for someone else, going solo isn’t all plain sailing. Life and chores get in the way and that’s what’s been happening this week. It’s spring and here, that means trying to get as much done outside as you can. Sometimes before you know it, it’s September and you have to begin thinking about raking leaves and packing away garden stuff. I’ve found finding a balance is the key…

Affiliate Marketing For Passive Income
I I’m a huge fan of passive income, work on it once, reap the rewards (aka money), later…sometimes forever! Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to make passive income. You know I love anything that Angela of Laptop University creates and this time, she’s come up with Affiliate Marketing Profit-Boosters to show you how she’s made money through affiliate marketing and easy ways for you to be successful too. It’s usually $47 but with the coupon she’s provided, it’s just $17. I hope you’ll check it out, here’s the link (and yes, full disclosure, if you sign up I get affiliate commission… see how easy affiliate marketing works?)…

Friday Ramblings-A Brief One
A really quick Friday Ramblings because I’m in the middle of a project and want to try and get it done before this work week is over. How is everyone doing? What are you working on? What’s not working? Set any new goals for the month and beyond? Leave a comment or e-mail me at budgetsmartqueries.com to let me know what you’d like to see on this site, and what products interest you or can help you with your business. Have a fun weekend and remember to always live the life you love.

Virtual Writing Retreat
I posted this on my writing site and thought I’d share it with you too because I know many of you are writers or aspiring writers. My virtual writing retreat that starts June 2nd and runs through August 31st. It’s divided into three sections, you can take one, two or all three. I’m hoping as lots of actual writing retreats have already been canceled that many writers will take the opportunity to attend this one. I’ll be posting lessons a couple of times a week and you’ll get a workbook for each session. Every Friday we’ll have a time set aside for questions (not sure if we’ll do this via…

Friday Ramblings-First Week of a Boot Camp
My apologies for not posting anything else besides the Monday Motivation and Friday Ramblings. A new boot camp kicked off, I got my private students settled into their May schedule. and worked on projects that have been on my to do list. If you work for yourself, you know how overwhelming it can be to be a one man (woman) show. And it’s spring, so there’s outside work with cleaning up the mess that the winter left. I also tried to work on my old web site with its new name, and yes, I did something wrong and relied on Nicole over at Amaraq websites to help me out yet…

Friday Ramblings-New Month, New Goals
Did you meet all your goals for April? These are disruptive, strange times for most of us, and setting goals and meeting them is often the last thing you think about. Or maybe it’s the first thing. I’ve been getting e-mails from lots of people who want to start their own business now that their jobs are no more. People who want more of solid financial base to build upon for times just like these. I also got e-mails from people who have been reading BSG since day one when I offered money saving tips. If you’re new here, check out the archives and you’ll find lots of articles about…
