    Friday Ramblings-Final One of 2020

The final Friday Ramblings of 2020. I’ll be taking a two week break and will begin posting again on January 5th with our Monday Motivation. I said at the beginning of the year, I was going to get back to posting on a regular schedule and I’m happy to say I did just that. I also wanted to grow the site, and yes, that happened too. However, I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone who let me take part in your giveaways and promotions, especially April and Angela. Thank you ladies, and I’m looking forward to more collaborations with you in 2021. Thank you to all…

    Saving Money in 2021

What steps did you take in 2020 to save money? As we approach the end of the year, now is a great time to take a look back and see how well you did with sticking with a budget. Didn’t have one, or had one and didn’t stay with it? My motto is if you fail the first time, the great thing is there’s always tomorrow and another chance. Here are some things to think about in 2021 Getting Rid of Stuff You Don’t Use I’m not talking about the treadmill you use once in a blue moon…although you could sell it and stash the money away for emergencies. I’m…

How to Make Money in 2021

We’re heading into the last few posts of the year so I thought I’d dedicate this one to how to make money in 2021 and then on Thursday how to save money in 2021. For the last few weeks, I’ve been doing research, looking for trends, listening to forecasts and trying to figure out the best way we can make money in the next twelve months. Things are getting harder to predict these days but here are some ideas Homeschooling/Teaching Whether it’s by necessity or choice, I think more parents are going to be homeschooling their children in the coming years. Anyone that can help them, whether it be a…

    Friday Ramblings-Countdown to Christmas

Hope you’ve had a good and productive week. I’m slowly getting ready for my Christmas break. I’ll be posting next week and finishing with a Friday Ramblings and won’t post again until January 5th when we’ll launch into a new year with more Monday Motivation. One thing I forgot to add to the list of things I have planned for BSG next year is monthly challenges. I thought about a January one, but there’s something about plunging straight into some new right after the holidays that spells failure. So, our first challenge of the year will be in February and will be a money mindset challenge. So, what will I…

Vision Boards-What Will December 2021 Reveal?

Ever put together a vision board? I had what I call a makeshift one comprising of just a flimsy piece of cardboard for my writing and books. However, a few years ago, I got more serious about the whole vision board thing and purchased a notice board that I could actually hang on my office wall. Both the makeshift and the notice board have worked wonders for me. They not only help you do a little dreaming. (And remember what they say about if you can dream it then your half way there). The main reason I keep a vision board is to get and stay organized. I might add…

    Monday Motivation-We All Start Somewhere

It’s all too easy to look at other people’s success and think they achieved it overnight. Very few would tell you that’s true. As we head into 2021, think about all the steps you’ll need to take to achieve your own ‘overnight’ success story. On January 1st, put the first step into action.

    Friday Ramblings-December Rolls In

How did you December begin? Mine started with the release of my latest novel and the conclusion of teaching writing classes. It was sort of bittersweet because it’s the last time I’ll be teaching through e-mail lessons and will be switching over to self paced and two hour live classes which I feel people enjoy more than the old format. It’s something I’ve been doing for over a decade and it reminded me that sometimes we can get into a rhythm that while familiar and comfortable to us, it’s sometimes not the best for producing income. I’m taking a gamble that the new format will net more students and therefore…
