Goal Setting in Quarters
Getting everything you want to achieve, done, can be overwhelming. I often take on more than I can achieve and end up getting more frustrated. This year, I’ve switching things up a little and I think it’s working. I thought I’d share it with you just in case you want to give it a try. This can work for just about any goal, be it making money, saving money or just one goal, like exercising more. I’ve started to divide goals by quarters. 1st quarter (Jan, Feb, March), etc. I use an overall statement at the top of the page, sort of like the ones you use in a business…

Entrepreneurs=Opportunity
Afraid you’re competing with too many entrepreneurs? There’s a silver lining… We’ve talked about possible future ideas for businesses. We’re going to see lots more people start businesses or at least look for side hustles. It’s easy to think, everyone’s doing that and I can’t compete but there’s a plus to so many people suddenly being self employed. I speak from experience when I say we can’t possibly do it all. We need help, even if it’s not on a daily basis, there are times when our time is short or our expertise doesn’t match up to the skill we need to get the job done. That’s where you come…

Put on Your Future Thinking Hat
Getting ahead with both your money and business always comes down to thinking ahead. Let’s jump back just ten years and think about all the things that weren’t around then but are commonplace today. Inflation-Be Budget Smart
You can’t get away from the talk about inflation. How high will it go and how long it will last? Whatever the answer, bottom line is that goods and services cost more and therefore you have less money to spend on other things like maybe a vacation or putting money aside for that rainy day fund. Being budget smart is always about ways to get around obstacles, especially money related ones, so here are some tips to help take the sting off of inflation- Think Ahead Right now I’m trying to think one year, even two years ahead and figure out what I’ll need.
