Friday Ramblings-Much Needed Rest

Another busy week and I’m glad that this weekend has an added day for some rest and relaxation.

One thing I’ll never sugarcoat are facts about running a business and working for yourself. While I wouldn’t want to go back to working for someone else, going solo isn’t all plain sailing. Life and chores get in the way and that’s what’s been happening this week. It’s spring and here, that means trying to get as much done outside as you can. Sometimes before you know it, it’s September and you have to begin thinking about raking leaves and packing away garden stuff.

I’ve found finding a balance is the key and I’ll be telling you more about that in one of next week’s posts.

This week, I did move my new project along just a little. I created some logos and now the tough thing is picking which one I like best. I was thinking about hiring someone to create the logo but then thought, let’s give this a try. Not only for the saving money aspect, but as part of learning to do more things myself. And yes, it was fun too.

As it’s a holiday weekend, no Monday Motivation…I’m getting some great feedback from you about how much you enjoy those posts, but have no fear, the feature will be back on June 1st.

Every business owner has to take some R and R, so this weekend, turn off the laptop and go do something fun.
