    Virtual Writing Retreat

I posted this on my writing site and thought I’d share it with you too because I know many of you are writers or aspiring writers. My virtual writing retreat that starts June 2nd and runs through August 31st. It’s divided into three sections, you can take one, two or all three. I’m hoping as lots of actual writing retreats have already been canceled that many writers will take the opportunity to attend this one. I’ll be posting lessons a couple of times a week and you’ll get a workbook for each session. Every Friday we’ll have a time set aside for questions (not sure if we’ll do this via…

Friday Ramblings-A Month of Full Blogging

It’s the last day of the month and, yay, the blog’s up and running again. I said I’d be honest with you. Some days have been tough, thinking of something to write or even wanting to write. If you’re thinking about blogging and have other pursuits, especially those that require you to write, be warned, it’s not easy. I’m happy to say traffic is up a little and the e-mail list has grown just a tad. (More about these topics coming up soon). I still have to figure out how the free giveaway I’m offering for signing up can be downloaded…told you it’s the tech side that’s my Achilles’ heel.…

Friday Ramblings-Busy First Week of 2020

It’s Friday which means this will be the spot for my weekly Ramblings. I’ve been doing a similar feature over on This Writer’s Life for about three years and it’s where I share what I did, things that got achieved and plans that might be on the horizon. I have to say I’m more than relieved that it’s Friday. Seems like this first week of 2020 has been busy with a capital B. A plotting boot camp started on Monday, I had lots of people e-mail me about coaching them which is usually the norm during January. It’s that turn of the old year into the new that has us…

    Free Mini-Retreat

Many of you know that I’m an author and also teach and tutor aspiring writers. I’ve been teaching for various chapters of the Romance Writers of America for a decade. Together we’re always trying to come up with something new and we decided in 2020, I’d teach an online summer writing retreat. We also came up with the idea to offer a free mini-retreat next month to give prospective students a glimpse into what the main event will be like…it’s going to be fun! Some of you might be aspiring authors so I thought I’d share this information with the BSG community. In the holiday spirit, I’m going to give…
