    Let’s Get Organized

Have lots of projects going on and not sure which one to tackle first? Have a to do list that’s getting out of control? Yesterday, I realized even though I’d spent the previous two weeks getting organized (or should I add the word thought in front of getting), I failed at the task. I hate to make the new year all about organization but as entrepreneurs and people who like to save money, it’s essential to do a check in once in a while. So, on a scale of one to ten (with one being bad shape), where would you say you are in being organized? Right now I think…

    Budget Smart Girl-Budget Planner

Have you wanted to keep track of where your money goes? What bills need paying and when? Can’t figure out how much is in that rainy day fund? While I consider myself pretty good with keeping track of my money, I’m lousy at keeping all the information in one place. I’ve been known to have slips of paper with how much I need to invoice a client, jotted on it. How much royalty I just got paid scribbled on another. I’d come out empty handed and disheartened because being organized was obviously out of my budget.  Always one for a challenge, I took note of the items in the store. I looked around to find things that were either free or low cost to help organize my home and…

The Budget Smart Girl’s Guide to Getting Organized

One way to quickly lose money is to be disorganized. You forget where you place items and then you rush out to buy a new one, only to find the original item a few days later. And jumbled closets with clothes that you buy, but they never get worn. Bills that get hidden and don’t get paid and yes, you get stuck with the late fees. The list goes on. Getting organized always seems to find its way to my New Year’s Resolution list every year. So what holds me back time after time? Not the hassle of getting organized, but the cost of all the stuff you need to…
