Budget Smart Girl Meets Cary Richards of Infostack

Budget Smart Girl loves interviewing successful entrepreneurs so I was thrilled to get the opportunity to chat with Cary Richards. Budget Smart Girl (BSG)-I know my readers and subscribers will want to know something about you, so could you tell us about yourself.

Cary Richards (CR)-I live in the Pacific Northwest of the USA (Seattle WA.) with my wife Jeannie. I have successfully raised 4 children who are all out on their own and doing great. I spent many years in the corporate sales trenches and hated every minute of it. It was always my dream to start and run my own business. About 5 years ago preparation and perseverance met with opportunity and Infostack.io was born. Now, along with my partner, Tom Morkes, I spend my days curating super valuable bundles of information in several niches and vertices and offering them at huge discounts. On the weekends in the spring and summer I compete in vintage open wheel races up and down the west coast with the Infostack Van Dieman Formual Ford.  In late Septemeber of this year I was fortunate enough to win the year-long 2022 Emerlad Cup Formula Ford Championship.

BSG-We’re also eager to know about Infostack, what it is, when it started, and how you got the idea for it and what sets it apart from other bundle sites?

CR-As I mentioned I spent years trying to figure out a way to make money online with my own business. After many false starts and dead ends and spending way too much money on courses and books etc. Finally, one day, I had an epiphany. I wasn’t the world’s expert at anything, so why don’t I compile other expert’s awesome information into bundles and sell them at a discount. Great idea, but I was struggling to implement it when I stumbled across a mastermind group lead by Tom Morkes.  I gritted my teeth and spent more money that I didn’t really have and jump in. Long story short, Tom helped me curate and launch my first bundle in late June of 2018 and, as they say, the rest is history. Today, Tom is my partner and co-founder.
