Hope you’re all safe and well as these difficult times continue.
I’ve had a week’s break from teaching and it looks like my synopsis boot camp class might need to be canceled due to low enrollment. Even the other class on self publishing doesn’t have the usual amount and it’s normally a popular topic. I thought this might happen as people are going to be watching their budgets. My classes over at Skillshare, have however, gotten more students enrolled. Another case in point, to diversify and not rely on one revenue stream.
I have been reading up on the topic of number of times you should post to blogs and sites. Some people say consistency is the key and the reason I’ve been posting (or at least trying) to post here every weekday. Others say, that has little effect on gaining views and growing your list. I have to say, after checking the stats, the latter is true. With that in mind, and the fact, I’m working on getting more products made for the BSG store, I might cut back on posting for the next month or so.
What are you working on this April? Have you taken any steps toward starting a business? How about working from home? Do you like it, hate it, or can’t decide if it’s for you?
That’s it for this week. ‘See’ you again on Monday.
Talk again soon and remember to live the life you love.
