Hope you are all safe and well on this last Friday of March. It’s been quite a month, hasn’t it? I think it will definitely be one for the history books.
So, craziness in our world aside, what did you achieve this March?
I’ve been reading about people in my local area who have had to close their stores, calls from potential clients aren’t coming in like they’d hope, and lots of people wonder if they have enough savings to last until things go back to normal. These are all reminders that everyone needs a rainy day fund and something to fall back onto because we never know when something is going to happen. In this case, not only to us, but to other people too. Even if you feel you’re in a good financial place, having clients who lose their jobs and income, can put you in jeopardy too.
If you’re one of the thousands of people around the world who are stuck at home right now, it’s the perfect time to start planning for both the good times and unfortunately, the bad.
I’m working on a couple of new products for the site and I hope to get them uploaded here next week. I have a week’s break from teaching so I’m going to use the time wisely.
And speaking of which…I’ll be teaching two writing classes starting on April 6th, all online, you don’t have to be anywhere at any particular time. One is a four week class about self publishing, the other, a two week boot camp about writing a synopsis. Here’s the link if you want to sign up (and feel free to share this with anyone else you think might be interested in either topic.)
That’s about it from me for the week.
Please stay safe.
Remember to live the life you love.
