February is under way and how are you doing with your to do list?
This week I finished creating lessons for a promotion boot camp I’ll be teaching next month. I’d been working on them and the workbook for about two or three weeks so I was happy to have that project completed. I thought about switching to something completely different but then decided I might as well stick with lessons and workbooks. I’ve opted to get started on creating the lessons for the upcoming summer writing retreat. For the last month or so, (if you add up the lessons, the blog posts, my other writing projects), I’m probably averaging about 20,000 words a week. I’ve shown myself (and I hope I’m proving to you too), that it’s doable. (Well if you don’t mind having to rely on eye drops every night).
It brings me to the topic of rewards. How do you reward yourself for tackling your to do list? I’ve been doodling and doing some of my artwork while watching movies. I think if I didn’t do that, I’d feel it was all work and no play. After a hard day’s work, I encourage you to practice some self care or the motivation can start to ebb.
One other thing on my to do list is taking part in a bundle collaboration. I need to figure out just what product I’ll be offering and put it together. Next week, I’ll tell you more about it and how it’s a great way to bring attention to your business and grow your e-mail list.
Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll ‘see’ you again on Monday.
Until then, remember to live the life you love.
