It’s the last day of the month and, yay, the blog’s up and running again. I said I’d be honest with you. Some days have been tough, thinking of something to write or even wanting to write. If you’re thinking about blogging and have other pursuits, especially those that require you to write, be warned, it’s not easy.
I’m happy to say traffic is up a little and the e-mail list has grown just a tad. (More about these topics coming up soon). I still have to figure out how the free giveaway I’m offering for signing up can be downloaded…told you it’s the tech side that’s my Achilles’ heel. I also have to update the about me page, but all in good time.
I’m still looking for anyone who might be interested in sharing news about their business with us. So far, I only have two people on the schedule. E-mail me at email@example.com if you know anyone or maybe that’s you!
One tip I did want to share that helps organize and skip through the to dos, is to create a folder on your screen and put everything into it. I have classes I want to design, story ideas, ideas for this blog and This Writer’s Life. As something gets done you simply remove it to the ‘finished’ file. I’m in the process of creating my February one.
Also, there’s a book I’m currently reading that I thought I’d share with you. It’s by Julia Cameron and it’s all about creativity and second acts. I began reading it last week and can’t put it down. I think it would be perfect if you’re wondering what to do with this rest of your life.
Finally, I’d love your feedback on how you’re liking the content and what you want to see as we make our way through 2020. Are you struggling with ideas for businesses, finding time for a side gig, ways to find customers?
One of my ideas is to create products and classes that can help everyone fulfill their dreams. I know that sounds vague and out there just a bit, but something tells me that’s what I’m supposed to do next.
Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll ‘see’ you again on Monday. Until then, remember to live the life you love.
