Another workweek slowly draws to a close.
Did you achieve everything on this week’s to do list?
I switched gears somewhat and began formatting the next two books I get rights back to. I also made covers for them. I’m trying out a new method of what some people call batch working. Instead of doing one task for many projects, you get everything done on just one and in one shot. I’ll let you if I think you should give it a try or not.
One thing I’ve been doing to save time (and to make sure I don’t forget to make a post). is to use the scheduling feature on WordPress. I’ve been using it with great success for my writing blog but this week here at BSG, things didn’t go so well. On Tuesday, the post I scheduled didn’t go live at the time I’d planned. In fact, it didn’t go live at any time. I’m not sure what happened but one way you can at least be alerted to a problem like that is to add yourself to your subscriber/follower’s list. That way you can not only see the actual post and how it looks when it’s sent to your subscribers, but you’ll know when a post goes missing too.
One thing I’m focusing hard on this year is growing my list and I know that’s top on other entrepreneur’s lists too. You’ll be able to follow along with me to see the methods I try and what I think works and what is a waste of time. One thing I will be trying is collaborating with other business owners with online presentations, online retreats, giveaways etc. Stay turned for more on this.
