If you haven’t started your holiday shopping yet, or if you’ve still got a few gifts to buy but are running low on funds, here’s my pick of items that look great but are all under $100.

Too Cute
If you have a little one on your list, I don’t think you’ll be able to resist one of the cute critters at Cloud B. In fact, I think it’s going to be tough deciding which one to choose. They help children get to sleep and are cuddly too. Check out Twilight Turtle or Sleep Sheep at www.cloudb.com, Prices start at $21. Another item you might want to consider is BabyLegs, just $12 or $28 for the organic variety. They’re sure to keep a little one’s legs cozy warm this winter www.babylegs.com.

Jajah
This year, gift giving might include helping family and friends to stretch their budget and here’s a way to do just that. Check out www.jajah.com. It’s a low cost phone service starting at just 2.9 cents per minute. You can use it from either a landline or cell phone and the best part is there’s no extra equipment to buy.

CVS
You might have read in last week’s guide to Black Friday that CVS Pharmacy offers Extra Bucks rewards, start earning some with these two gifts that are especially good buys. The Beauty Luxury Robe or the Vivitar Refractor Telescope both for just $14.99 www.cvs.com.

Happy Feet
And here’s something I got to test drive. My saying is if your feet feel good then the rest of you always feels good too. With the stress of the holidays or nowadays, just turning on the news, here’s a gift for any lady on the list. It’s the Microplane Sweet Feet Gift Set. For $29.95 you get a Microplane foot file, 4 ounce jar of Microplane Footcream…I got to try the Citrus Twist and the World’s Softest Spa Socks. Yes, that’s what they’re called and they’re not kidding. They’re the softest and ‘snuggliest’ socks I’ve ever worn. Everything comes wrapped in an organza bag. www.transformmysoles.com.

Games
When I was growing up, receiving a game on Christmas Day was just as essential as eating turkey and stuffing. The folks at Hasbro have a wide variety of games such as Clue for $15.99 and Pictureka for $19.99, www.hasbro.com. And if you have any Sudoku fans on your list, check out a company called Bits and Pieces www.bitsandpieces.com. They have the Sudoku Deluxe Handheld electronic game for $16.99. It’s item number 43351 and includes 2 million puzzles. And the Deluxe Wooden Sudoku Game Board, item number 43359 and it’s on sale for $28.99.

Made for a Budget Smart Girl
When I received information about the next gift, I couldn’t believe the price. I think this one was tailor made for us Budget Smart Girls. As I like to get the most mileage out of my purchases, this one gets two thumbs up from me. It’s the Michebag. The basic bag costs just $34.99 and if you want to change the style or color to match the occasion or outfit, you just buy a shell that fits right onto the original bag and costs just $24.95. Check out the photo at the top of this guide, and visit their site at www.michebag.com.

Entertainment At Home
I’m guessing with the economic slump, most of us are going to look for ways to spend a fun and relaxing evening at home. If you like listening to music or an audio book, check out the Clear Harmony NC200 foldable headphones from Able Planet. They have noise cancellation which allows for rich sounds at lower levels to preserve your hearing. I got to test a pair and I highly recommend them. I have a small head and have trouble finding headphones that are comfortable and fit right, but these were perfect. They also have a clip you can attach to your jacket or sweater and a control close to you for turning the volume up or down. The sound was perfect. They cost $99.99. They’re available from Walmart, Costco or from www.ableplanet.com.

Luxuries at Home
And speaking of ways to relax at home, check out Moen’s line of showerheads, prices start at just $27, www.moen.com.

Stylish Gifts with a Purpose
Many stores give you a discount if you bring your own bags and here are some Totes with Quotes for stylish shopping www.ecobags.com, prices range from $5.99 – $16.

Space Savers
And if you or someone you know is downsizing to smaller living quarters, here’s something for them. The Black and Decker Spacemaker System $24.99-79.99 www.blackanddeckerappliances.com.

Clothes
I know lots of people are saying they’re not buying clothes as gifts this year, but if you’re looking for jeans, I don’t think you can beat these Adirondack Jeans from www.llbean.com available in five colors, and only $19.95.

Sweet Treats
And yes, despite the economy, you have to indulge, but let’s still do it at a Budget Smart Girl price. Check out the Orange Chocolate Cluster Pail from www.bocajava.com for just $13.95.
